Before submitting artwork, please make sure you have read these guidelines carefully as we cannot accept responsibility for any incorrect printing due to setup / artwork errors.
File Formats We only accept files in PDF, AI, EPS, JPEG, PS, TIFF
Type All Text on files must be created to outlines or converted to curves (or outlines/paths).
Settings All Files must be set to CMYK format. Please make sure there are no spot colours or pantones in your artwork as this can output unexpected colour results. As our service is a CMYK 4 colour process we cannot guarantee to match Pantone, Ral or Spot colours.
Colour Profiles Print files MUST NOT contain ICC colour profiles.
Use of Black If you have files with large amounts of black in the file, we recommend using a rich black which is made up of this CMYK mix C50 / M50 / Y 50/ K100. This gives the print a deeper colour as sometimes using just black the image can look grainy and ‘washed out’
Overprints Overprints MUST NOT be used in files.
Scaling If your artwork is set to a scale i.e.: 1:2 (50%), 1:5 (20%), 1:10 (10%) please make sure you inform us of this in the Comments box below.
Images All images must be embedded into the document and saved as CMYK.
Files Each design must be saved as a separate file or on a separate page in a multi-page file.
it is recommended to use the Adobe Distiller when creating your PDF file set to PRESS QUALITY
Sizes The orientation of the print file must match the orientation of the product or size on order.
Resolution (DPI) Please make sure that you save your file at least 300 dpi
Bleed & Crop Marks Please supply all files with 5mm bleed all round. Please don’t save the files with crop marks. On banners please remember to leave clear area all around of 4cm so not to conflict with the position of the eyelets. For Banner Pole Pockets, please contact us.
Cut to Shape In case of an artwork being cut to shape, we require a contour cut supplied in a separate layer on an artwork file. The cut line should be a contrasting spot colour normally Magenta and named "CutContour" outline with a stroke around the area needed to be cut out, this should be clearly named in an individual layer.
Please Note We cannot be held responsible for any spelling errors / typos / incorrect telephone numbers, or improper setup of artwork files supplied to us. If we believe that a file is incorrect before production we will contact you and request a new file. We may refuse to accept files not suitably prepared for print. Any additional operations aimed at correcting files to the above guidelines and all changes made by Display Graphics Pty Ltd upon the request of the customer shall be treated as an additional service and may incur an extra surcharge.
